Governance and Management
HAMT is governed by a Board of Trustees comprising of Ms. Anita Shah, Syed Asad Ali Shah, Professor Dr. Nusrat Shah, Ms Naheed Shah Durrani, Professor Dr Nighat Shah, Ms Nafisa Shah. The Trustees are well educated professionals belonging to different fields and committed to human development and human well being.
The Trust has been established in memory of their late mother, Husn Afroze. The Trust operations are managed through a dedicated General Manager who is responsible for the executive functions and extends the required supervision, monitoring and coordination of Trust Activities. There is a Trust Finance Manger for managing the Trust finances and executing finance and audit functions. In addition, the Trust hires staff based on different program/ projects requirements. Such as dedicated additional staff were recruited for the Girl Rising Program; similarly separate staff was hired for the Livelihood Program initiated in the post 2022 flood devastation which affected many families adversely and devoid of income generation means
Other than the administrative staff, the Trust has been hiring additional teachers, support staff for the Adopted Schools, depending on the requirements.
